If you remember summer and spring of 2016, it was all about the shoulders! But come this winter season, it is all about the statement sleeves. Details from ruffles, split bell to faux fur, sleeves are the centre of attention and will continue well into spring.
When I first received thisfaux fur drop sleeve tee, I was a bit lost at what to do with it since it was a little overwhelming. But as I played around with my closet more I find that it was super easy to pair with even though it seems busy at first. Since its black and the material thin, it’s great for layering under a vest coat or shearling jacket. If the weather is starting to warm up you can wear it like I did with cropped jeans and a pea coat for nice dinner or a friends farewell party. This look can be professional or fashionable depending on how you wear it and will work great for a lot of settings and situations.
I am excited to restyle this shirt for another look later on with a fedora but here I just kept it rather classic and let the shirt shine on its own. The more I wear this top the more I like it because of its versatility and uniqueness. I love subtle details that make big statements, and this top definitely fits the bill. If you want to dress up this look more you can always try a metallic pleated skirt and some ankle booties to make it more of a downtown vibe and party the night away.
