Unlike my other posts where it’s mostly about fashion or a lifestyle item, I want to share with you a year-end recap of 2016. I have been doing a lot of reflecting lately because that’s what you do by the end of the year right? Especially during Christmas, I got the chance to just be lazy, took a bit of a break from blogging and to gather my thoughts and evaluate what I want to achieve in 2017.
I had a great year in blogging where I was lucky enough to experience a big jump in my following from the beginning to now and have worked with a lot of amazing brands, including Coach. My biggest to date, I was really excited to represent their #coachfall2016 campaign and was thrilled when they have chosen me to model their Rogue bag. Another great milestone for me was attending events and meeting celebrity hairstylist Howard McClaren. At that same event, for the first time I was able to meet other bloggers from the city and it helped me connect and feel a bit more like I am part of a community. I really got to engage more with others when I attended a bloggers brunch at the Rosewood and got to not only meet other blogging babes but also Jason, the photographer that took these photos and the previous. It has been a long dream of mine to work with other photographers (and not just my husband) which gave me a deeper look into the industry we call Fashion. I had a fun filled day shooting with him in the cold, sharing our love for Kpop and feeding off each other's spontaneity which was super memorable.
As always, I am thankful for everyone that has shown me massive love this year including my friends, family and especially my husband for their undying support! With a new year comes anticipation and of course new challenges! I hope in 2017, I will greet you with a new glamouraspirit bigger and better than before.
Thanks for joining me and see you in 2017!
