So excited to share with you more pictures from my trip and this time we head to a resort area called Nk'mip (pronounced In-ka-meep). Translated to “Bottomland” in English, Nk'mip is located at the southern end of Osoyoos Lake and is home to the first Aboriginal-owned winery in North America (1), a 4-star Spirit Ridge hotel and a desert cultural centre. Surrounded by desert sage, rolling vineyards and a spectacular view of the lake (2), we took the opportunity to wine, dine and take pictures at this amazing place well worth a visit.
I knew the forecast was going to be pretty grey the first couple of days, so I packed with me this great quality rain coat I got from Zara. Usually raincoats aren't very chic but I thought this one was very cute and will be super handy since it rains all the time in the city. Not heavy and super light, I like its transparent nature where it can show-off my neon stripped sweater underneath.
Before we headed to lunch inside the wine cellar, we found this pretty road littered with purple trees and violet petals that served as a magnificent backdrop to illustrate my accessories. Since we were moving all day, I wanted to be comfortable and wore my new favorite silver flatforms and my fave traveling bag by Louis Vuitton. I also love these new retro cat-eye sunglasses by Le Specs I got the week prior at Nordstrom.
I really love this outfit because its fun, trendy and very practical and you will be seeing me lots in this jacket come rain season. And don't forget to visit the desert cultural centre as it is one of my favorite places to go when I"m there.
