Amid a sea of rich earthy browns and deep tones, pink emerged as a refreshing and unusual new "it" colour. Since spring is so seemingly far away and out of reach, style aficionados alike are craving this "oh-so-pretty" shade (1). From trousers, a midi skirt to long coats, pink is everywhere. When paired well it will surely help any outfit standout and bloom. So I challenge you, don't be afraid to wear pink this season and to create a little spring in fall.
When I first saw this dress, it reminded me of a little girl's dream fantasy of dusty flowers and decadent sweets. With its intricate lace detail and ruffle collar, this dress would be perfect for a wedding or themed bridal shower. Since most people tend to shy away from pastels during fall and winter, I wanted to show that you do not have to limit yourself to the season, trend or magazine. The limits are only the ones we put on ourselves. Since it does get super chilly now, I recommend wearing a darker pink coat or perhaps you can be adventurous and try a leather jacket to turn the good girl a little bad.
For accessories, I wanted to keep the jewelry simple to show off the lace detail of the dress. So delicate touches of rose gold and gold were introduce to pay homage to spring and vintage inspirations. I especially chose this branch ring and bracelet to propel the outfit for a more formal or dressier occasion. I always suggest a little bedazzle to catch the light and eyes for the night. Finally, I added a tarnish gold structured box clutch to keep it elegant and plum platforms for extra height and a pop of cheeky colour.
Thanks for reading and I hope this will convince you to add a little pink in your wardrobe this season. Until next time stay glam and chic! -xoxo Spirit
