Today I want to share with you a cute and festive outfit that I wore over the long weekend to celebrate Easter. Whether you are painting eggs, chasing bunnies or simply just relaxing over the holiday at the beach, this palette of blue will certainly get you into the right egg hunting mood.
This look was supposed to be more dressy originally but because the weather turned out to be so gorgeous and sunny (for once), we decided to spend the afternoon relaxing at the beach instead. I traded in my heels for sneakers and headed over to Crescent Beach to marvel at the sparkling water, blue mountains and people fishing. Breathing in the fresh ocean air always makes me feel super refreshed so I can prepare myself for a new blogging season to come.
Although this outfit was not intended for a beach day at first, I think the denim overalls and this ruffle polka dot dress shirt blended nicely with the ocean blue. The casual nature of the overalls is perfect for walking on the sand, while the details of the shirt adds a unique punch to this Easter-inspired outfit. Along with my favourite pair off-duty silver sneakers. the look is complete for a day of playing and gazing out into the sea. For a dressy feel, add your beloved ornate necklace and a pair of suede heels and you are set for a fancy Easter dinner with family or friends. Since it is still freezing cold despite the sunshine, I recommend bringing a jacket, like this faux shearling one to stay warm while keeping chic.
I hope you have enjoyed my outfit and can spend a day just being closer to nature and enjoying your break.
Happy Easter and Thanks for reading!
