Modeling gowns and dresses was way too hard in December, so I am happy to abandon them for January and showcase some styles that will be more fitting for the weather. With freezing temperatures here lately, us Vancouverites are desperate to do anything to stay warm. But staying warm doesn’t always mean being chic - unless you have this ruffled tiered sweater on that offers both style and function!
Warm and cozy and not to mention super cute flare sleeves, this grey cable knit sweater is girly, fun and very cozy. I wore this sweater out to have dim sum with my family on January 1st and it was so cold that the streets were literally frozen like ice rinks. However, I stayed nice and snug because this sweater is very thick and nicely made where I almost didn’t need a coat if I layered properly underneath. So next time you have a sweater weather dilemma, keep it cute with this cable knit sweater and you won’t be saying its cold outside!
With the freezing temperatures, it is very important to keep your head warm, so I suggest a nice pom pom beanie with your outfit. I always pick toques with a pom pom style because I think it just adds such charm to a bundled up look. Not to mention it looks better on someone that has a round face shape like me, beanies are in itself a fashion statement. Speaking of fashion statements, I know people are split between how they feel about UGG boots but I frankly LOVE THEM. I have to admit that I am not always in heels but are in these instead during winter time because UGGs are the best quality winter boots ever. I have these for over ten years, wear them every winter and they keep me warm like no other.
