Last weekend was the inaugural Vancouver Mural Festival, a celebration of public art where brand new and permanent murals transform the Mount Pleasant neighborhood. Big, bold and bright (1), these giant works of art is a great way to beautify and bring much needed character, life and attention to a beloved part of town. A bloggers dream, I am always on the hunt for a beautiful wall to pose on and I am so glad that I will have 47 more places to bring you my latest and greatest looks.
With summer ending soon, I want to wear as much off-the-shoulder tops and dresses as possible. So instead of overalls like last time, I wanted to show off this Zara cropped top by balancing it with a long denim skirt. I actually wore this look to brunch with the girls and it was perfect because allowed me to be comfortable while walking, eating and checking out the local shops.
Instead of these amazing embroidered Soludos espadrilles, I wore gladiators to brunch instead but I think both are chic options. These espadrilles add a much need summer flair while gladiators bring a boldness to this easy summer outfit . Add a organic beach tote and you are ready for long day of brunch, shopping or graffiti wall hunting.
I hope you get to check these wonderful murals around the city because they are truly spectacular.
