This past year we have seen a fierce rebirth of the Fringe. Designers such as Chloe, Burberry and Saint Laurent are bringing this spirited piece back with a vengeance . From eye-catching pencil skirts, luxe suede booties, to designer handbags, it is very safe to say that we will likely be seeing more of this trend on the runway. Anything fringe is a must-have this season especially the fringe bag. Fringe has long been a favorite of mine despite the season. I just adore the way it turns simple accessories into something interesting and engaging when you move around. Sometimes if you wear too much fringe it can look tacky, so the key is to have no more than two pieces that are fringe. As always, keep the rest of your outfit simple but not lacking in detail. For example, I paired my fringe bag with a bohemian chiffon top and suede tan button skirt. This pairing is simple but not plain. The lace details on of the blouse and buttons on the skirt really exudes dimension but does not overpower the fringe necklace or bag. I am actually going to talk a bit more about this bag and show you THREE different ways in which I like to wear it. Another reason why this bag is a great find is its convertibility. Firstly, using the long strap you can wear it on one-shoulder or as a cross-body. I love wearing this bag this way because if you love to go traveling, it will really help during times when you are tired and it is getting heavy. Second: Using the shorter handle, you can wear it as a regular purse on one shoulder. I think this is a good way to carry it into the office or when you go shopping because it gives off such an ease and sophistication. And lastly, you can hold the shorter handle and drop it down by your hips and it will look very chic when you walk around. Also, the long strap is detachable so if you want you can take it off and just have the short handle. To complement the bag, I added a black floppy fedora and black gladiator sandals. This creates neutrality which isn't distracting to the eyes. I actually want this necklace to be the centre of attention so that it really pops. I actually got this fabulous necklace in Zara during their Sale season and I was surprised in how well it matches well with all the pieces I got for fall lately. I always love a good sale especially when you discover a fantastic item such as this one. Since the necklace has a vintage mood, I decided on the tan suede skirt to go with the same theme. Thanks for reading and I hope that you have found some useful tips on how to wear the fringe bag. If you like this post please share and comment below on what you would like to see more of.
