July has certainly been hectic for me as we are currently in the midst of redecorating and renovating our home. A long overdue project that was prompted by a raccoon destroying our roof, it turned out to be quite the blessing in disguise. Hopefully, when we get everything done I would be able to share with you some tips and tricks on how to refurnish your home. In the meantime, I have been busy hunting for a couch and practically live at West Elm. Today, I want to show you an outfit featuring this lovely off-the-shoulder top from Shein that would be perfect for a little afternoon furniture shopping.
I got this Shein Blue Long Sleeve Off The Shoulder Blouse sent to me a little while ago and didn't get the chance to wear it until now. At first I wore a black suede skirt with the top but it felt that it was too dressy for an errand day; So I changed and reached for a matching pair of jeans and went for a denim-on-denim look. One my absolute go-to styles, I love a great denim combo because it's just so effortless and cool. I also love a great off-the-shoulder moment and this top fits my criteria perfectly. Great for keeping cool in the summer, this top has an amazing tie detail in the sleeves. This feature caught my eye the most because it’s so unique and different from the standard bell, puffy or waterfall sleeves in which we've been seeing most on the off-the-shoulder trend. I also love the fact that it’s quite long and act as a tunic so you can wear it over jeans like I did or with a pair of white denim shorts to the beach. Not to mention that this top is only $17 US dollars so you won’t break the bank while looking chic as ever.
So I am excited to finally have a shoot featuring these stunning wedge espadrilles by Marc Fisher which I got from Nordstrom in May. If you don’t want to pay a fortune for the Chloe version, this is a great quality dupe. It also comes in other patterns and colours but I like this brown pair because it goes with everything and feels so summery. I was also excited to bring out my favourite leopard McQueen clutch (which I also got from Nordstrom) again as I have been neglecting my baby for awhile. Not to mention that leopard looks stunning against the backdrop of denim blue, this outfit will surely keep it a little wild too for the season.
Shein has a lot of amazing options and I especially love their off-the-shoulder dresses and tops. I will be modeling a few more looks by them later on so please stay tuned.
Thanks for reading and Thank you Shein for partnering up with me for this look
