The cooler weather means harsher conditions on your baby’s delicate skin. With that in mind, I have already begun transitioning my baby’s skincare from fall to winter with the AVEENO® Baby® Eczema Care Line .

*This post was sponsored by Metropolis at Metrotown With the holidays fast approaching, I am already feeling all the festive vibes but what I was looking forward to the most this year is Adelina’s first photo with Santa Claus! Last year, we weren’t able to get a photo with Santa because we were still too busy adjusting to new parent life; And truthfully, I was really regretful about that but now she is older and walking, so I was determined to create this special tradition with her. Thankfully, I got that wish fulfilled when I got invited to the preview of Christmas at Metropolis at Metrotown where finally we got our first photo with Santa and it was definitely a memorable experience (so make sure you scroll down to the very end for the end result). This holiday season not only are there opportunities to have your photos taken with Santa, Metropolis at Metrotown also offers tons of other amazing services and of course shops to make your holiday shopping seamless!
The first thing that comes to mind when people hear Whistler, is that it’s a skiing and snowboarding destination, the clear emerald water of Joffre Lake and home to the 2010 Winter & Paralympics Winter Games; And yes, Whistler is all those things and so much more. Nestled in the Coast Mountains and just roughly a 2 hour drive north of Vancouver, Whistler B.C is a year round haven that offers an extensive range of accommodations and activities like spa, clubs, golfing, outdoor sports, and plenty of world-renown restaurants and bars etc. to satisfy your vacation needs. However, now coming back as a new parent, I’ve discovered that Whistler is also a great destination to take your kids and offers lots of family-friendly attractions. Today I am going to be sharing with you some great ideas for you to plan a unforgettable fall trip with your kids in beautiful Whistler B.C
Thankful to be Home for Dinner- A Friendsgiving tradition with Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon10/2/2019 Since working with Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon , I discovered that they have a wonderful initiative called Home for Dinner , where we can celebrate the tradition of sharing a meal together while supporting a great cause. And with Thanksgiving just around the corner, I thought it would be the perfect time to combine my passions for hosting and charitable giving to help benefit families that are staying at RMH BC. This idea really inspired me to gather my generous friends for a “Friendsgiving” dinner along with some amazing charitable partners like the Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant & Brewpub, Taffete Designs and Riversol to create a memorable night of giving; and hopefully, motivate others to host their very own Home for Dinner fundraising event this holiday season.
The first thing I learned about being a parent to a toddler now, is that they love to make a mess! However, to them, they aren’t making a mess at all but simply exploring the world around them. And let me tell you, trying to keep the house and the baby clean is next to impossible…so what do we do? Well, I discovered that it is important to let them make a mess. This is crucial to their learning and development, but make sure you surround them in a safe environment where they can make mistakes and learn to “tidy up” afterwards (1). Today I partnered up with AVEENO® Baby® to share with you how I like to clean up Adelina’s messy moments with products I trust!
