I have been dreaming about Adelina's nursery for the longest time and now I can finally share with you the finished result which is super exciting. For me as a new mom, a nursery isn't just for feeding, diaper changes and naps but really a special place for me and my baby girl to bond. So I am happy that we were able to create a space that can change, adapt and grow with her as she leaves her baby phase into toddler-hood and beyond.
When we were parents-to-be, we knew that not only would our lifestyle change completely but it would also become incredibly hectic when the baby comes. So with that in mind, we researched a lot of stroller systems and decided that the UPPAbaby VISTA® Stroller, Bassinet and MESA™ Car Seat were going to be the perfect combination for our life as newborn parents and we were right! If you are a new parent or parent-to-be deciding on a travel system I recommend that you read my review below and see for yourself how UPPAbaby® can grow with your baby every step of the way!
I have tried several times in the course of a month to write my birth story but it has been difficult since I am in recovery and also a crying hungry baby doesn't help. The purpose of this blog post isn’t to intimidate you about birth or having children. It is simply a way for me to share my journey (and your journey will be different and uniquely your own) and to let women know that birth may not be what you expect. I feel that a lot of women knock themselves down so bad when something doesn’t go as planned but that is what motherhood is … a lot of unexpected moments!
As I am nearing the end of my pregnancy, I am filled with all sorts of emotions - both excitement and fear! Excited the fact that we are going to meet our baby soon but fearful of not knowing how my labour will go and how my new chapter will begin. In reflecting upon these 9 amazing months, I really love to share with you pictures from our maternity shoot and hope that it will help you gain some insight on pregnancy if you are planning and also some inspiration on your maternity shoot in the future.
With my baby on the way very soon (due in mid June or earlier) I want to share with you some pictures from my surprise (very) baby shower that my lovely girls threw for me in April! I usually don't do posts that are really intimate about my life but I really want to share this special moment with all of you and hopefully help you plan your next baby shower for your friends.
